The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) is the United Kingdom government agency which is responsible for ensuring that medicines and medical devices work, and are acceptably safe. The Enforcement and Intelligence (E & I) Group at the MHRA comprises of an Intelligence, Investigations, Prosecutions and Support unit of 42 staff based in London, Welwyn Garden City and York.

The German Customs Investigation Bureau in Cologne (Zollkriminalamt, ZKA) and its investigation offices are federal agencies that fall under the German Finance Ministry. The ZKA coordinates customs investigations nationwide in particular monitoring foreign trade, uncovering violations of EU market regulations, illegal technology exports, subsidy fraud in the agricultural sector, drug trafficking and money laundering.

The Directorate-General of Customs and Indirect Taxes (Direction Générale des Douanes et Droits Indirects, DGDDI) is a French law enforcement agency responsible for levying indirect taxes and preventing smuggling. The"Service National de la Douane Judiciaire - SNDJ" is the judicial investigative service of the DGDDI based in Vincennes."
